Gabrielle C. Romano
Gabrielle C. Romano joined Joseph W. Pieper, Attorney at Law, LLC as an associate attorney in November 2018. Gabrielle concentrates her practice in the areas of guardianship, the administration of decedents’ estates, and estate planning. She also serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in guardianship matters involving adults with disabilities.
Growing up with a brother with autism, Gabrielle has been passionate about helping individuals with disabilities throughout her entire life. She volunteered and worked in the community throughout high school and college and later pursued a law degree for the sole purpose of learning how to better advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Prior to joining Joseph W. Pieper, Attorney at Law, LLC, Gabrielle concentrated her practice in probate and guardianship while working as an associate attorney at a boutique law firm and as a pro bono attorney with Equip for Equality.
Gabrielle is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law and received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in interdisciplinary health, with a minor in music. While at Chicago-Kent, Gabrielle made the Dean’s list and received the top grade in her trial advocacy classes. She was on the national trial team, where she and her teammates won the National Ethics Trial Competition in 2015, and she also served as president of the Justinian Society’s student chapter.
